Buyer Beware!

I purchased these shoes a month ago, and when the weather broke I wore them in the backyard to get a feel if I could wear them for 18 holes. Very comfortable shoes, but like an earlier reviewer mentioned a spike was missing when I took them off.When I went to purchase new spikes(at 3 different sporting goods and golf specific stores) no one carries the metal screw-in type spike anymore,they have a new plastic twist lock type. That tells me it's an older model shoe, and I will have to purchase another pair if I cannot find this type of spike online.

loose spikes but great item

I wore these shoes for the first time yesterday. Walking to the 5th tee, I looked back and saw a spike on the floor. Unfortunately it wasn't the first one to come loose, it was the second one. So, after a first use, I have one spike less in my left shoe. Although you tighten them, they come loose fast, so you have to be screwing them every other hole. Having said this, they are comfortable and look nice.

ASIICS for for quality always

These are great golf shoes and fairly priced. As an ASIIC product they are run of the mill fantastic. I have been wearing ASIICS all of my athletic career: wresting, running, baseball, now golf and the products they have produced are always top of the line in terms of quality and manufacturing, durability and comfort. They simply get it right in terms of athletic footwear. There are more widely known brands with swishes and stripes, but ASIICS is on par or superior with all of them. Only complaint on the golf shoe is I don't like the threaded cleats. A personal annoyance that does not alter my opinion or the performance of the product.
