Designed for 2012, Adidas' adiPure Z is a high-end, durable golf shoe. The shoes are made from premium, hand-finished leather with ClimaProof technology that provides 100% protection. 4.5 Stars - Ultimate Comfort, Performance & Looks (Kinda)

The Adidas adiPURE Z is a high-end golf shoe that delivers a great mix of performance (stability and traction) and looks (style and quality materials) while also being comfortable for 18 in any weather.Adidas really hit on something with the new thinTECH cleats. They grip the turf very well without the feeling of standing on something. The shoe's upper is appropriately stiff without being uncomfortable. There is plenty of padding on the tongue and the inner sole as well as sufficient breathe-ability for an entire round.The shoes look fantastic - a can't-miss choice for any upscale golf outfit. The Adidas striping is subtly embossed and is less obvious than the picture indicates, further emphasizing the adiPURE Z as a hybrid dress/athletic golf. My only concern thus far is that the leather is showing more creasing than I expected after only a few months. Particularly with a dark color (I got the redwoods), these creases also come with some visible discoloration. Hopefully this effect will stop now that they've been completely broken in.Note that the shoe has a longer profile than you may be used to. When I first pulled them out of the box, i was concerned that they appeared to be much too large. However, they fit very well with my usual size - they just have a pointier toe shape than do most other shoes. The width was also adequate enough to be comfortable while still maintaining a great amount of lateral stability throughout each swing.Overall, the adiPURE Z is a great choice for anyone seeking a combination of formal style and superior athletic performance on the links.

The show is all leather, inside and out, except for the sole, which is a great, durable all-weather material. So far, fantastic, as all my Adidas shoes have been. Thanks!

Great Shoes. Did not need a break in period. Comfort right out of the box. I like them better than the Foot Joys I had.
