Bought these after looking around for a new set of golf shoes after they stopped making the Callaway Hyberbolic spikes I liked last year. Liked the idea of a light spikeless shoe but not too many options for larger sizes out there (I wear 14's) and some brands like Nike seem too narrow for me. Got these in 2 days from amazon- and have played several times so far. Really like how light they are- no issues with traction, although I would still wear my old Callaway's if it was wet out. Feet feel great after a round, felt great right out of the box- no break in period.

Great most comfortable golf shoe. Most golf shoes hurt my feet. I use Asics running shoes and I have been using trail running shoes to play golf. When I saw the Matchplay 33 shoes, I had to try them. I am glad I did. I like them so much, I am going to buy a second pair.

Love Shoe/Dislike Insole(s)

I am an Asics (and Brooks)running and hiking shoe wearer exclusively. So I bought these light weight golf honeys knowing I would get the consistent quality fit and finish that goes with the Asics brand. The shoe is `as advertised'...light, stable and the cleatless design make the shoe extremely user friendly....no shoe change necessary from course to clubhouse to car to living room. But the shoes DID NOT improve my handicap. I have not used the shoe in wet (or rainey) conditions as yet, so no comment. All this said, I still have an on-going complaint with Asics (and Brooks) shoes. With all of the quality built into these brands, they both "cheap out" when it comes to their insoles. Thus the score of 4 vs a 5. After I get a great price and delivery on one of these brands from Amazon, I immediately buy better quality insoles from the Insole Store. But...don't let my concern be your concern. These are very good shoes for everyday golfing and I will be buying another pair to rotate.
