these shoe are a great value. I bought a half size bigger and that proved to be a good thing. The shoes look good, feel good and are easy to clean. When you get them I would tighten the spikes or you will lose some.

These shoes seem to be well made and fit quite well however the choice of materials could have been better. The spikes are made of an extremely hard plastic and the footbed (insole) is thin and not very resilient. Coupled together these two selections result in the wearer feeling every spike on every step on both hard and soft surfaces.I have worn these shoes for four rounds (two riding and two walking) however after two rounds I replaced the insoles with softer insoles from a retired pair of Footjoy's which made them a little more comfortable for walking.Following up on other reviewers comments, the spikes in these shoes (and all new golf Shoes) need to be tightened prior to use. The spikes are of the small threaded metal post design and as noted before a very hard plastic. One of the spikes broke during my second round leaving just the threaded metal base insert in the bottom of the shoe. This was easily replaced and I have had no further issue with the spikes beyond the aforementioned hardness transmitted feeling through the shoe while walking.Four rounds do not qualify me to make a long term assessment however as of now I would not hesitate buying another pair in the future. Other interested purchasers may find it desirable to bump up their size by a half size because they may be a little tight for some however my 12D boats fit the 12's I got perfectly.
